Phuket Zoo Rescue

Thanks to the Trunks Up Herd, we were able to help bring these deserving elephants to sanctuary at Elephant Nature Park!

Tang Mo + San Mueang :

Tang Mo and San Mueang spent years at Phuket Zoo, forced to ‘rave’ to music, ‘play’ musical instruments and perform an array of tricks for tourists’ amusement, whether it’s dancing or throwing basketballs.

When the zoo faced closure due to the 2020 pandemic, the two elephants were rescued by the Save Elephant Foundation in August 2020. They’ve since been living under the care and safety of Elephant Nature Park (ENP).
