VaNa was rescued from Northern Thailand just 5km down the road from Elephant Nature Park on December 4, 2023. She has been both mentally and physically abused from a life of forced breeding where she suffered a broken leg. Her most recent pregnancy resulted in a horrible injury, a devastating stillbirth with many complications.
VaNa needs continuous medical attention and is under a treatment plan at ENP.
She has now made a beautiful friendship with a female elephant in her 50s named DaoThong who also has a disability in her back leg. They remain inseparable as they find great comfort in one another.
By becoming VaNa’s foster parent, you will help the ongoing cost of her medical care and support this amazing girl in life in sanctuary.
