Dok Koon was rescued on April 24, 2024 from the Surin Province in central Thailand.
In her 70s, Dok Koon has spent the last half of her life working in the trekking industry giving elephant rides to tourists after logging was banned in 1989.
Freedom has finally come for this beautiful girl and she now can experience the love and care of sanctuary at Elephant Nature Park.
