Raya was rescued in December, 2021 from a tortured life of being used for labor despite her broken back leg. When Lek heard of Raya’s continuous suffering, she knew that a rescue would need to happen immediately.
We’re thrilled and honored that the funds raised from Lek’s 60th birthday campaign, was able to secure Raya’s freedom at ENP! She is now peaceful and content in sanctuary.
